An intrigue surfaced between Michelle Dee and Chelsea Manalo
Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee spoke about the unfollowing issue between her and Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Chelsea Manalo.
Chelsea is Michelle’s successor. Just like many queens, they showed and received support from each other. They had positive words about them and Michelle was expressive about her support to Chelsea for the international pageant competition.
An issue surfaced between them when netizens noticed that Chelsea unfollowed Michelle on Instagram, as well as Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo.
The fact that Michelle Dee shared an intriguing post on X, formerly Twitter. Somehow netizens speculated that it has something to do with Chelsea Manalo.
However, in a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Michelle denied that there is an issue between her and Chelsea.
“I was honestly so surprised. I opened social media that day and I saw it on the headlines. I was completely clueless of what was happening,” the Kapuso actress said.
She was aware that her tweet “Practice what you preach” is being linked to that unfollowing issue. Michelle clarified that it has nothing to do with her MUPH successor. She stressed that her post was not connected to pageantry and the entertainment industry.
“I didn’t know I was making headlines, even if I didn’t do anything,” Michelle said. She also said that it was her and Ahtisa’s mutual friend who told them about this issue.
The Kapuso actress shared that Ahtisa also had no idea about this issue. Michelle thought that it was just an accident or maybe Chelsea had her reasons.
Chelsea has followed Michelle and Ahtisa again on Instagram. Michelle said that she did not know about this and at her end, she had nothing to say.
The Kapuso actress said that she has been very supportive of Chelsea and she has been given her successor advice. “We have no bad blood. Nothing remotely happened that could have triggered it. I have yet to clarify that but I think we’re okay,” Michelle Dee stressed.
