Jason Dy shared something about Sarah Geronimo
Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo was able to impart this important life lesson to singer Jason Dy.
Jason rose to fame after becoming the winner of the second season of The Voice of the Philippines in 2014 and he chose Sarah as his coach. From that, the male singer was able to have a chance to do many projects in the entertainment industry.
He is now one of the most popular singers of this generation and continues the reap the fruit of his hard work.
After ten years, he is still doing what he loves and continues to perform on different stages. In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Jason Dy was asked the biggest takeaway he got from Sarah Geronimo.
Jason highlighted the importance of not just focusing on the technicality of being an artist. “Hanggang ngayon, naalala ko pa rin every time that I perform, kailangan isapuso mo ‘yung kanta. Sometimes it’s not just enough that you’re technically good, but you also have to have the heart when you perform the song. You have to relay the message of the song, kung ano talaga sinasabi ng kanta,” he shared.
Jason also admitted that he has been a big fan of the Popstar Royalty and he is thankful that Sarah became his coach. Just seeing Sarah and being around her gave Jason inspiration.
It gave him the desire to be a total performer also and give his 100 percent in every performance.
Jason also shared that until now, he and Sarah get to catch up with each other once in a while because the latter is so busy. “I think the last time I saw her was when we did the Christmas thing last year. Sometimes we message, nag-i-interact kami sa social media,” the singer said.
If given a chance, Jason Dy would like to collaborate with Sarah Geronimo. They haven’t done any project together and they would just be together in certain events.
