Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla Reflects on 42 Years of Music, Passion, & Purpose
ZSA ZSA PADILLA – Singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla shared that even after 42 years in the music industry, she still feels the same excitement she had when she was just beginning her career.
Celebrating over four decades in the music industry, Zsa Zsa Padilla continues to shine as one of the most respected voices in Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Known as the “Divine Diva,” she reflects on 42 years of passion, performance, and purpose with the same spark she felt at the start of her journey.
Padilla has delivered timeless classics like “Kahit Na,” “Ikaw Lamang,” “Hiram,” and “Minsan Pa,” leaving a lasting impact on generations of music lovers. Her soulful voice and emotional performances have made her a constant presence in the local music scene, inspiring both her peers and aspiring artists.

“Sometimes I still can’t believe it’s finally happening – I have to pinch myself!” Zsa Zsa shared. “It’s been such a long wait, and now that it’s here, I’m honestly just full of gratitude,” she said.
She credits her longevity to an undying love for music, the unwavering support of industry leaders, and the encouragement of fans, friends, and family. “To put it simply, it’s love for music that has never gone away. But I also have to say, the support I’ve received from the industry bosses through the years has been instrumental. Their belief in me, giving me platforms to keep doing what I love- it means a lot,” she said.
As she looks back, Zsa Zsa also offers advice to today’s young artists. “Be real. People can feel it when you’re genuine. You can try all sorts of reinventions, but if you’re not being true to yourself, it won’t stick. And also- you need to be tough. This industry can be hard, so you have to be strong, but also kind… especially to yourself.”

She hopes her daughters, Karylle and Zia Quizon, along with other rising talents, remember that success is about more than applause. “Use your voice not just to sing, but to inspire and uplift,” she emphasized.
To celebrate her legacy, Zsa Zsa will headline a special anniversary concert, Through the Years, on May 17 at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati—a night to honor her extraordinary musical journey and her enduring connection with fans.
