Rhaila Tomakin clarified what happened between her and Kobe Paras
Newbie singer Rhaila Tomakin was asked about the real score between her and basketball player Kobe Paras and she had this message to Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara.
Rhaila caught the attention of the online community when Kobe’s photos with a woman in Bali circulated on social media. At that time, Kobe’s breakup with Kyline was still a hot topic.
The basketball player was accused of cheating on Kyline with the woman he was with in Bali. They were spotted holding each other’s hands and netizens noticed that they were in the same place in Bali based on the photos they shared separately.
Eventually, netizens were able to identify that the woman was Rhaila Tomakin. In a recent interview which was posted on the TikTok page of OC Record, the recording label owned by singer Kean Cipriano, the newbie singer was asked about the real score between her and Kobe Paras.
“Kobe is such a great guy and a very good friend, but that’s about it,” she said and when someone asked her again, she reiterated, “Yeah, we’re friends.”
When asked about the accusation that she was the third party in the Kobe-Kyline breakup, Rhaila said that she understands that people will have their opinions and that certain rules are being observed when it comes to relationships.
“Gets ko naman ‘yung mga tao, like, how easily it can be misunderstood. And I don’t want to invalidate anyone’s feelings kasi as Filipinos, we have that three-month rule kind of thing,” she said.
However, she stressed that it was already 2025, apparently pointing out that this is a modern time already, but she was not trying to insert her feelings or hurt anyone’s feelings. “It was just a matter of the same place, same time, we have this simple moment and I don’t read too much into it,” she said.
She also had this message to Kyline Alcantara amid this issue. Rhaila admitted that she does not know the Kapuso actress since she grew up in Dubai and the shows she frequently watched there were on Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network. However, her message to Kyline was, “I wish her all the best, I wish her more projects, more love, more happiness.”
She also said that the public is very critical when it comes to women. Rhaila reiterated that she wished Kyline the best. “I wish her blessings in the world and I have my own,” the newbie singer said.
