BINI Jhoanna and other members of the group received criticism
BINI Jhoanna, Colet, and Stacey, with GAT’s Ethan were under fire after this controversial video leaked online.
BINI is a P-pop all-girl group tagged as the Nation’s Girl Group. The eight-piece sing and dance ensemble is composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena. Jhoanna Robles is considered as the group’s leader.
Since they debuted in 2021, they already done major shows and concerts here in the Philippines and abroad. They also had several viral songs that became dance craze on TikTok. Their fandom is called Bloom that has supported them from the beginning of their careers.
However, negative comments were recently poured over the three members of the all-girl group, especially BINI Jhoanna, Colet, and Stacey. On social media platform Reddit, a video featuring the three BINI members and Ethan of the GAT,  a 5-member Filipino pre-debut boy group under Viva Artists Agency.
The Reddit post has this caption: “GAT’s Ethan and BINI’s Jhoanna, Colet, and Stacey are causing a stir online after a leaked video surfaced.“
Apparently, Jhoanna was sitting on the sofa while the two boys in front of him were doing an awkward action. It can be heared that behind the camera, apparently, Stacey or Colet said that “Yan ginagawa niya kay “Ashley,” sinasabunutan.” It can also be heard that someone said, “13 years old.”
In the comment section of this post, the BINI members received criticism, as well as Ethan.
A netizen expressed shock upon seeing this video and another netizen, who is apparently a fan of the all-girl group, expressed disappointment.
“Kadiri. Yung in-heat jokes okay lang pero grooming and SA? Sobrang disappointed, can’t even [call] myself a bloom,” an apparent fan commented. Here are some other comments.
As of this writing, the management of BINI and GAT haven’t released yet a statement regarding this issue.
