Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Ahtisa Manalo reacted to the unsolicited opinions and advice from other people.
Ahtisa finally won the most prestigious beauty pageant crown in the Philippines gave her the chance to represent the country in the international competition that will be held in Thailand in November.
This would not be the first time that Ahtisa will represent the Philippines. She represented the country at Miss International 2018 and she was hailed as the first runner-up.
After winning the MUPH 2025 crown, Ahtisa Manalo received support from her fans and her fellow beauty queens such as Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, and Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee.
However, Ahtisa is also aware that there were comments online giving her advice and opinions that are unsolicited. TV5 entertainment report MJ Marfori asked her about this in an interview.
She knows that as a public figure, it is inevitable that people would offer their unsolicited advice or opinions, but she hopes that these come with kindness.
“I just hope that when people give these pieces of advice, that they remember to be kind,” she said. On the other hand, Ahtisa admitted that she does not read comments but she stressed that when this happens, people should remember that public figures are also people who can also get hurt with harsh words online.
