RUFA MAE QUINTO – Actress and comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto recently took to social media to announce a major development in her legal case, revealing that the charges against her have been dropped.

Rufa Mae Quinto has shared a significant update regarding the legal case filed against her, revealing that it has officially been resolved. The charges stemmed from Quinto’s involvement as a brand ambassador for Dermacare-Beyond Skin Care Solutions, a company accused of soliciting investments without proper authorization.

 Authorities had charged her with 14 counts of violating Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code. She voluntarily surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation in December 2024 and secured her temporary release through a ₱1.7 million bail.

Despite the accusations, Quinto consistently maintained her innocence. She emphasized that her role was strictly limited to brand endorsements and that she was never part of any investment-related activities of the company. Her legal team further asserted that she, too, was misled and that she should be seen as one of the victims.
