Jodi Sta Maria has this perspective about jealousy in a relationship
Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta Maria, known as the Silent Superstar, shared his thoughts on “selos” that happen in a relationship.
Jodi has come a long way from doing supporting roles in teleseryes and movies, she is now one of the most in-demand actresses. Aside from her successful acting career, Jodi also found success in her academics.
She continues to acquire more knowledge in her chosen field outside the entertainment industry.
When it comes to her love life, Jodi Sta Maria maintains her privacy. Previously, reports surfaced linking her to actor Raymart Santiago.
In a recent episode of Kapuso afternoon showbiz talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the actress was asked if “selos” can do a good thing in a relationship.
“Depende ‘yan, e, kung paano natin binibigyang-kahulugan ang mga emosyong nararamdaman natin. For example, ‘yong feelings of jealousy. Ang iisipin natin, selos, masama ‘yan. Negative emotion ‘yan,” the award-winning actress said.
Then, she shared what she read from the book The Language of Emotion which said that there is no such thing as positive or negative emotion. She added that every emotion that a person feels is beneficial and that there is a reason why one feels that way.
“If you are getting jealous about something, it means that maybe a boundary needs to set in place,” Jodi shared, adding that there may be a boundary that was crossed.
Despite being busy as she continues her education, Jodi Sta Maria said that she will not take a break from acting. She also mentioned that she has finished filming several films and even though she is not shooting for anything while studying, she is not completely gone in the showbiz scene.
