Basketball player Kobe Paras is once again a topic of netizens’ discussion because of his photo which apparently has a similar background to what aspiring singer Rhaila Tomakn shared.
Kobe has been in a hot seat these past few days. He was accused of cheating on Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara. His photo with a girl in Bali while the actress is in the Philippines received an intriguing comment from the latter’s brother.
Then, the son of former actress Jackie Forster and former basketball player Benjie Paras received another round of criticism when his photo holding hands with an unidentified girl in Bali circulated on social media.
Although Kobe Paras was bashed, especially by Kyline Alcantara’s supporters, some netizens defended him.
His mother has also been defending him. Jackie shared cryptic posts about manipulation but did not succeed anyway. In a more recent post, Jackie told her son to protect his peace.
Amid the issue, netizens somehow identified the girl in Kobe’s viral photos in Bali. A popular showbiz site pointed out the similarity in the background in the photos that the basketball player shared and what Rhaila Tomakin shared on her social media page.
Kobe shared a mirror selfie. His background was a window with what appeared to be a lamp.
In the comment section, netizens shared intriguing comments and one netizen even commented, “confirmed”.
As of this writing, Kobe Paras and Rhaila Tomakin haven’t spoken yet about the rumors linking them romantically.
Meanwhile, amid this issue, Kyline Alcantara’s statement about choosing peace amid a controversy circulated online. She pointed out that no matter what other people will say about her, she still knows what her side of the story is.
