Comedian Ate Gay, Gil Aducal Morales in real life, shared the “RIP” messages he received after Superstar Nora Aunor passed away.

Ate Gay is one of the most famous impersonators of Nora, also known as Ate Guy in the Philippine entertainment industry. The comedian is known for copying Nora’s famous lines in movies with exaggerated accent during his shows, He is also known for spreading good vibes on social media with his mash-up videos.

Nora’s death saddened the entertainment industry and one of the showbiz personalities who expressed sadness was Ate Gay.

In Ate Gay’s Facebook post on April 17, a day after Nora’s death was confirmed, he shared a message from one of his supporters who was sympathizing with him and asked him how to make his fellow Noranian happy.

In the caption of his post, Ate Gay wrote, “Nagluluksa Ako dahil 3 dekada Kong bitbit Ang pangalang nora aunor sa pagiging ate gay ko..pero napatawa mo Ako ..di ko alam kung pano mapapasaya tita mo.”

On April 18, Ate Gay shared two screenshots of messages he received and these came from people who told him “rest in peace.” Apparently, this was just a joke. “Maliiiiiii juskoooo Po,” he wrote in the caption of his post.

As of this writing, this now has four thousand laugh reactions. Netizens who commented on what he shared also had funny comments. “Bwahahahahhaha RIP po! Relax In Palawan Hahahahahhahaha!!!!” a netizen commented.

Meanwhile, Nora Aunor’s son, actor Ian de Leon, shared the last chat message he received from his mom. In her chat message, the Superstar and National Artist for Film told her son to hug her grandchildren for her. Ian answered with optimism by saying that they would still spend time together, especially for her birthday that is supposed to be next month.
