Sanya Lopez On Working With David Licauco In ‘Samahan ng Mga Makasalanan’

Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez shared her thoughts on working with actor David Licauco in the movie Samahan ng Mga Makasalanan.

Sanya is GMA’s homegrown talent. She has proven her acting versatility through the roles given to her. This year, she had the chance to work with David for the first time.

During a recent interview for this movie, based on the article in The Philippine Star, David admitted that he was challenged by his role. He questioned himself whether he would be able to deliver a good performance.

In the movie, he played the character of the priest, but he had to portray it as a funny one. “I never played that role, na priest ako. Sa ‘Pulang Araw’ kasi heavy drama yun, then sa ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ naman ay more of parang romantic-comedy, and then nakagawa rin ako ng action,” the actor shared mentioning his past acting projects.

With this movie, he said that it was more challenging. His character needs to be relaxed and timid, but it was a challenge to make it entertaining. The actor shared that he learned a lot from portraying this character.

He learned that it is okay to commit mistakes as long as he learned from those mistakes and never commits them again.

When Sanya Lopez was asked about her co-star, the actress has nothing but praise for David Licauco. “Tahimik lang. Very nonchalant ‘di ba po? Pero ang cute lang na marunong siyang makisama. At hindi rin po ako nahirapan,” the actressed described working with David.

Meanwhile, just recently, Sanya shared that she is currently dating a Chinese businessman. The actress was known for being NBSB or no boyfriend since birth. However, this status might change very soon because of her confirmation that she is seeing someone.
