Archie Alemania continues legal battle against Rita Daniela
A warrant of arrest for actor Archie Alemania was released regarding the acts of lasciviousness case filed by actress-singer Rita Daniela.
To recall, Rita accused Archie of doing inappropriate things to her during the party that actress Bea Alonzo organized for the cast members of Widow’s War. Rita and Archie were among the cast members.
The actress-singer accused the actor of saying disrespectful words to her during the get-together. Then, allegedly, the actor touched her and tried to kiss her when he brought her home.
After Rita Daniela formally filed the complaint, Archie Alemania answered it with his counter-affidavit. The actress-singer immediately responded. In an interview, Rita shared that she had “trauma” because of what happened.
In March, Archie was indicted for acts of lasciviousness. On April 2, in a report from PEP, it was said that a warrant of arrest was issued against Archie.
The case is already filed at the Office of the City Prosecutor of Bacoor, and it is expected that the warrant of arrest will be served, but it is still unknown to the public when this will happen.
“After a careful evaluation of the information, the Resolution, Investigation Data Form, the Complaint Affidavit of the complaining witness, and other pertinent documents, the Court finds probable cause to hold the accused for trial,” Presiding Judge Mary Rocelyn P. Lim-Guillano of Branch 2 of Municipal Trial Court ng Bacoor City, Cavite, stated in a document.
“Considering that the accused is at large, let a WARRANT OF ARREST be issued against him. He may apply for bail for his temporary liberty in the amount of PHP36,000.00,” the judge added.
After the warrant of arrest was publicized, the entertainment news site tried to reach out to the actor. However, Archie Alemania has not responded yet. Even his former handler in Sparkle GMA Artist Center did not reply to the message asking about the issue.
