Gerald Anderson has a new TV project
Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson talked about his upcoming crime-thriller TV series Sins of the Father.
Gerald has come a long way since the doors of showbiz opened for him through the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. After his successful onscreen partnership with his ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu, Gerald did various projects that even boosted his career as an actor.
Over the years, he did different genres of acting projects on the small and big screens. This year, he is set to have his television comeback.
Based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Gerald Anderson expressed excitement for this upcoming project with a star-studded cast.
He said that he is grateful to be part of this production. The series will revolve around a socially relevant crime-thriller plot. This project will also feature some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Tirso Cruz III, Joko Diaz, Jessy Mendiola, JC de Vera, Shaina Magdayao, RK Bagatsing, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, Soliman Cruz, Nico Antonio, Jerald Napoles, and LA Santos.
“It’s a story that will shed awareness, because nangyayari talaga ito everyday. Sabi ko nga kanina, at least may isang segment sa TV Patrol o sa TV 5 (news) or sa ibang news channels about yung storyline namin. Just want to shed more social awareness sa nangyayari, and give them a quality product,” Gerald shared.
The actor also shared that he requested some of the people who will be included in the production, and he is thankful that JRB Creative Production was so collaborative and they trusted him.
Gerald Anderson also shared that the story will not just focus on a single lead role because every character will contribute to how the story will go. This series will be a reunion project for him and the veteran actor Tirso Cruz III. The last project they did was the series Budoy in 2011-2012.
