Zeinab Harake and Ray Parks Jr. Set to Say ‘I Do’ This Year
ZEINAB HARAKE – Celebrity couple Zeinab Harake and Ray Parks Jr. have announced their plans to get married within the year, exciting fans with their upcoming wedding.
Internet sensation Zeinab Harake has announced that she and professional basketball player Ray Parks Jr. are set to tie the knot in an outdoor Christian wedding in the Philippines later this year.
Speaking at OKBet’s “Ok to be Empowered Together” event in Taguig City, Harake shared insights about their upcoming nuptials. Originally, the couple had planned to wed abroad, but logistical challenges, particularly concerning her child, led them to opt for a local ceremony.

“Within the year. Dapat abroad kaso nahihirapan ako ililipad ko pa anak ko. Best advice, magpakasal muna kami tapos saka ayusin. Para at least dalawa na kayo, ‘di ka na single mom,” Harake explained.
A Wedding Focused on Love and Faith
Harake emphasized that their decision to marry is centered on their love for each other and their faith in God. She clarified that they are not rushing to start a family but are instead focused on building their future together.
“Pagmamahalan namin ni Ray [is] about honoring God. Kaya gusto namin magpakasal. Hindi dahil nagmamadali kami magka-anak. Madami pa kami gusto i-build sa future namin, ‘di kami nagmamadali,” she said.
One of the most personal touches to their wedding is that both Harake and Parks will be writing their own vows. Harake admitted to feeling pressured, given how well-thought-out Parks’ proposal was, which even started with a Bible verse.
“Doon ako na-prepressure sa vows. Kasi ang galing ng proposal sakin. Sinimulan tayo sa Bible verse! English talaga! Sabi ko ‘pwede wag mo solohin wedding vow mo. Pwede may papel?’ Ang talino kasi ni Daddy Ray. Isa sa na-in love ako. Smart man talaga,” she shared.

A Private and Intimate Ceremony
To maintain the intimacy of their wedding, Harake revealed that they will enforce a strict no-phone policy for guests. They have ordered ziplock pouches for phones to ensure their privacy and allow them to release content on their own terms.
“Gusto ko lang private time. Maroon ako pina-plan for my wedding, sana before malabas ng nga tao, official muna. Nag-order kami ziplock for phone. Gusto lahat kasi gusto namin official. Sana bigyan lang kami time,” she stated.
Harake, who is known for her content creation, prefers to edit and release wedding moments at her own pace without external pressure.
“Ako kasi nag-edit. Kasi noon may supplier naglabas ng proposal. Umiyak ako. Natataranta ako kasi gusto ko habulin. Ayoko gano’ng pressure. Sana magawa ko with all my love doon sa passion ko,” she said.
A Hands-On Bride
Harake has taken a proactive role in planning every detail of the wedding, from the ceremony to the pre-nup shoots. She has been directly coordinating with the video team and is personally overseeing the creative aspects.
“Kausap ko na video team, ngayon pa lang nagdi-direct na ako,” she shared.
The couple has already done a prenup shoot in Japan, but Harake revealed that they are planning another one in a local Philippine destination.
“Ako lahat [nag-isip]. Lahat ng post ko, concept ‘yun. ‘Yung Old Money, kay Daddy Ray ‘yun. Expensive kasi [aesthetic] niya. Pag mahal mo ‘yung energy makukuha mo. talagang lalabas ‘yun sa aura mo,” she explained.
With Harake’s hands-on approach and the couple’s shared vision for their future, their wedding is shaping up to be a heartfelt and meaningful celebration of their love.
