Maja Salvador talked about motherhood and her career
Actress Maja Salvador shared that she is ready to have her baby number two with her husband, businessman Rambo Nuñez.
Maja is one of the most in-demand female celebrities of her generation. Aside from acting, she has some hosting stints and a lot of endorsement projects. She is also known for her breathtaking dance performance as the “Queen of the Dancefloor.”
When Maja got pregnant, she was thinking of going back to work after resting for a while. However, in a recent interview, based on the article in Pang-Masa, she shared that she decided to take a break for several months and be there with her first-born, named Maria.
Maja Salvador shared that she did not have a hard time giving birth, but she admitted that she had postpartum depression. The actress is now slowly getting back to work, and she got the approval from her husband.
The actress said that one thing changed now that she is a mom is to have a bigger holding area during shoot, because as much as possible, she brings Maria to the set.
Maja was already planning to go back to work after giving birth, but she felt that she wanted to take care of Maria more before getting busy again in showbiz.
“Nung dumating si Maria, sabi ko ‘parang ‘di muna ako magtratrabaho. Kaya ko naman, eh. Parang ‘yung ang tagal mong pinangarap, pangarap ko talaga, so ‘yung priorities mo sa life, parang lahat, lahat ng desisyon mo, lahat ng decision making mo, parang kahit ‘di pa sumasagot si Maria, titingnan mo lang siya, siya ‘yung makakasagot,” she shared.
Maja also shared that when she received inquiries, she said that she would wait until Maria reaches one year old. The actress said that she has been waiting to have a child, and it would be regretful for her if she could not witness the milestones of her daughter.
“So ‘yon sabi ko miss ko nang mag-work pero pinangarap kong maging mommy at binigay sa akin ngayon ‘to kaya ayun, hindi ako nagmamadali,” she said.
Maja Salvador shared that she is now ready to have her baby number tw,o even though her husband told her that if she does not want another baby, then it is okay with him. Rambo witnessed the hardships that Maja had when she was pregnant and while giving birth.
However, when Maja saw their baby when she gave birth in Canada, she said, “gusto ko pang manganak.”
