Rayver Cruz Opens Up About Crying Over Love & Finding Safety in Relationships
RAYVER CRUZ – Kapuso actor and dancer Rayver Cruz confessed that he has cried multiple times because of love.
Actor Rayver Cruz recently shared his emotional side, admitting that he has cried over love on multiple occasions, even revealing that it’s happened in the bathroom. This candid admission came during his visit with Sinagtala co-star Matt Lozano on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on March 18.
During the show, Rayver confessed that love has made him emotional, saying that he has cried many times because of it. “Minsan, sa CR pa nga e,” he added with a laugh, recalling moments when he would look in the mirror, remember past situations, and end up in tears, seeing himself cry in the reflection. This vulnerability highlighted the emotional impact love has had on him, and he didn’t shy away from discussing how deep his feelings can run.
In addition to discussing his tears, Rayver opened up about the importance of feeling “safe” in a relationship. Host Boy Abunda asked if safety is crucial for Rayver when it comes to love, to which the actor-dancer responded affirmatively. “Alam kong safe na safe ‘yung puso ko and very well-loved by Miss Julie Anne San Jose,” he said, acknowledging the love and security he feels in his current relationship.
Rayver also shared that he has never experienced a lack of safety in love, explaining that he always makes sure to show effort and express his love to his partner. He believes that when love is real, it comes naturally, and that he gives his all to the person he loves.
“Kahit sino naman sa’tin, kapag na-inlove. For me kasi sobrang pag nagmahal ako, Tito Boy, alam mo naman, all out and kung ano man ang mangyari, kung ano man ang will ni Lord, ibig sabihin kung hindi man nag-work, nag-work, ibig sabihin, si Lord lahat ‘yun,” Rayver said. He added that he trusts in God’s will, whether the relationship works out or not. He believes that everything happens for a reason, and ultimately, it’s all part of God’s plan.
Rayver and Julie Anne San Jose first met when he transferred to GMA Network in 2018. In 2022, romance rumors between them began to circulate after they exchanged “I love you’s” during the JulieVerse concert, sparking interest among their fans.
