Pia Wurtzbach has this reminder for all Filipinas
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared her thoughts on defining beauty and confidence in celebration of International Women’s Month.
Pia was hailed as the third Pinay Miss Universe. With her beauty and confidence, she captured many people’s hearts. Aside from being a known beauty queen, Pia has also become an in-demand endorser of prominent brands.
Last year, Pia was chosen to be the face of the luxury jewelry brand Bvlgari. It has been a little more than a year since she started her career in the world of fashion.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment, Pia Wurtzbach shared this reminder to all Filipinas when it comes to defining beauty and confidence.
“It’s an honor, but also a big responsibility. More than being seen as a beauty icon, I want Filipinas to know that they don’t need to fit into a mold to be strong and successful. They can define beauty and confidence on their own terms,” she said.
The beauty queen also said that not all the time one could look beautiful. All she does is embrace those days when she does not feel her best. “Because confidence and authenticity matter more than perfection,” Pia shared.
Asked about her fashion sense, Pia said that her style is modern yet classic. “My style is timeless yet modern, always polished but still approachable,” she said, adding that she loves to wear classic and well-tailored pieces that do not need any effort.
Meanwhile, Pia Wurtzbach had to cut short her stay in Paris for the Fashion Week. She shared in a previous video uploaded on her Instagram page that she had some prior commitments in Manila and had to leave before PFW ended. In this video, she highlighted what she learned about knowing when to peak and when to pull back.
One of those commitments was gracing the opening of the first-ever D’ishee physical boutique in the Philippines.
