Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial expressed gratitude for First Lady Liza Marcos, and here’s the reason behind this.
Barbie is one of the most popular female celebrities of her generation. She has been in the industry for many years already and has done prominent projects that boosted her career in the entertainment industry.
The actress also has her fair share of controversies. Among the most recent negative issues about her is the third party accusation. She was accused of being the reason why actor Richard Gutierrez and actress Sarah Lahbati.
Richard has clarified in a previous interview that there was no third party in his breakup with Sarah and he defended Barbie against bashers.
Previously, Barbie Imperial has also clarified her name against the third party accusation. Despite this issue, the actress continues to shine, just like how she did at a recent event.
First Lady Liza Marcos invited her to attend the Manila International Film Festival that was held in Los Angeles, California, USA. The Kapamilya actress shared a series of photos on her Instagram page taken during the said event.
Barbie also had photos with the First Lady. In the caption of her post, the actress shared her message for FL Liza. “An unforgettable evening of gratitude and celebration! honoring the incredible directors, actors, and talents behind the Filipino film industry. thank you madam first lady @lizamarcos for inviting me. truly an unforgettable night,” she wrote in the caption of her post.
Meanwhile, FL Liza Marcos also shared snaps during the event with different celebrities. In her Instagram post, she said that it was a phenomenal night for her to be surrounded by the brightest stars of the Philippine entertainment industry.
