DOUG KRAMER – Former PBA player and celebrity dad Doug Kramer opens up about his inspiring 30-lb weight loss journey.

Doug Kramer recently shared his impressive fitness journey, revealing that he has shed 30 pounds over the past two years. His transformation was not just a result of exercise but also a significant shift in mindset and dietary habits.

Doug took to social media to highlight his progress with a side-by-side photo comparison, emphasizing that sustainable weight loss requires a disciplined approach to food.

“Who said this wasn’t possible at age 42? And you can do it too! 30 lbs down and exactly 2 years later,” he wrote. He humorously credited pandemic-induced cravings for viral treats like ube pandesal as one of the culprits behind his initial weight gain.

Despite maintaining a rigorous workout routine, Doug admitted that poor eating habits hindered his progress. “The odd part here, I was still consistently working out 2 hours in the morning on the second pic,” he shared. “So I had to learn one of the biggest lessons the hard way: YOU CANNOT OUT-EXERCISE A BAD DIET!”

According to Doug, adjusting one’s fitness mindset is key. He shared two major takeaways from his transformation: “Adjust your mindset. Workout to get stronger, not to lose weight. It’s to maintain/build muscles, especially as you hit your 30s and 40s, as our muscles start to deteriorate. Eat better, to look and feel better.”

Doug also emphasized that muscle-building and proper nutrition are essential for maintaining youthfulness and overall well-being. “I truly believe that building muscle and proper diet are keys to ‘slowing’ down the aging process,” he said.

To further guide his followers, Doug hinted at a possible vlog where he could discuss fasting, nutrition, and mobility in greater detail. “I still have so much knowledge I can share. The right way of fasting, what exactly do I eat, how to stay mobile and flexible, etc. But maybe on a vlog soon, let’s see.”
