An avid fan of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza had this controversial comment against Arjo Atayde
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards was spotted at the 30th birthday celebration of Phenomenal Star Maine Mendoza.
Alden and Maine’s tandem, known as AlDub, was a big hit. They had a huge fandom which started when they were paired in Eat Bulaga’s Kalyeserye segment. Fans loved their chemistry onscreen. Aside from the “kilig” they gave to their fans, viewers of the noontime show also loved the humor that the said segment had.
Some fans got so invested in the tandem that assumptions about Alden and Maine circulated within the fandom. For some fans, rumors were true that the former loveteam partners were married and had their child.
Even though Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza have addressed the speculations about them, some die-hard AlDub fans are still firm in their beliefs.
Although Alden and Maine did not become a couple, the friendship between them remained. In a recent interview, the actor even said that he is willing to work with the actress once again.
Just recently, Maine had her star-studded birthday celebration. Based on the article in Bandera, Alden attended the party. It was because comedienne Jessa Chichirita shared photos taken during the party and in separate photos, she was with Maine and Alden.
This made the hearts of AlDub fans flutter. In the comment section of Chichirita’s post, fans of the two celebrities celebrated and took notice of the friendship that they were able to maintain.
However, an AlDub fan had a negative comment when a netizen asked if Chichirita had a photo with Arjo Atayde, the husband of Maine Mendoza. The fan insisted that Arjo and Maine’s wedding was fake and that the latter’s husband is Alden. Some netizens slammed the die-hard AlDub fan.
