Rhian Ramos talked about her new lifestyle show
Kapuso actress-host Rhian Ramos has this reaction to the misconception that she is “maarte.”
Rhian has been in the industry for many years already. She is one of the homegrown talents of GMA Network. Throughout her career, she has done various acting projects. This year, she was given a chance to host the lifestyle show Where in Manila which will start airing on March 8, Saturday at p.m. on GMA.
Through this show, she will visit different places in Manila and try different foods and delicacies. Rhian admitted that she is a foodie.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN, the actress talks about how she can maintain her figure despite the fact that she loves to eat. To recall, Rhian’s photos recently went viral showcasing her fit figure while baking cookies.
“‘Yung personal na style ko, may oras ang kain ko. Usually I start getting hungry ng 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. Puwede akong kumain until midnight. Kung hindi ako umabot ng midnight, kunwari nakatulog ako, calorie deficit na ‘yun,” Rhian Ramos shared.
The actress also shared that she is a bit of an emotional eater. She tends to eat more when she’s stressed. Her eating habit is connected to her feelings.
In the same interview, Rhian reacted to the comments that she is not fit to be the host of Where in Manila because she is too sophisticated to eat different street foods in the capital city of the Philippines.
The actress stressed that she is not “maarte.” “Maniwala po kayo, sa totoo lang, hindi naman ako maarte. Magkaiba naman ‘yung sinasabi niyong branding na sosyal sa maarte,” she said.
She also said that people tend to think those in showbiz are glamorous, but she stressed that being in the industry, one should not be “maarte” there are a lot of things that one can experience.
“Gagapang, iiyak, at sasampal-sampalin ka sa putik na hindi mo magagawa kung maarte ka. I’m actually very adventurous. I love to experience new things,” Rhian Ramos explained.
