BINI introduces new sets of songs
Nation’s Girl Group BINI, under ABS-CBN’s management, released their BINIverse extended play.
The all-girl group debuted on June 11, 2021. The 8-member group, composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena, was formally introduced with their debut song Born To Win.
Then, their song Pantropiko went viral on social media. Many people and celebrities joined the dance challenge. This was under their first EP ‘Taalarawan,’ with other songs like Salamin, Salamin and Karera.
Just recently, BINI officially released their new EP titled BINIverse, based on the article in ABS-CBN Entertainment. This extended is consists of six bubble gum pop tracks – “Blink Twice,” “Zero Pressure,” Secrets,” “Out Of My Head,” “Cherry On Top” and “Cherry On Top BiniMo Remix.”
Zero Pressure features an ’80s pop sound and the song is about ambition and perseverance. In the song Secrets, the all-girl group collaborated with Korean-American artist and former Day6 member eaJ. This one is about having trust in a relationship.
Out of My Head is the track about the feeling of falling in love. The Nation’s Girl Group recently released the track Blink Twice, which is about the push and pull of romantic curiosity.
The group has first released the song Cherry on Top, which now has 100 million combined streams.
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, BINI denied allegation that they are competing against P-pop Kings SB19, who recently released the title track DAM of their third extended play Simula at Wakas EP.
It is known to many P-pop fans that some supporters can be very passionate, sometimes to the point of being toxic, and somehow this creates some issues between groups. However, BINI said that they are friends with SB19 and they are celebrating the rise of the Philippine music industry.
