Jennylyn Mercado showed full support for Dennis Trillo’s movie
Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado revealed that she avoided being interviewed after watching Green Bones, the MMFF entry of her husband drama king Dennis Trillo.

In a recent episode of Showbiz Update, the YouTube showbiz talk show of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, Jennylyn Mercado was asked about how proud she is that her husband was hailed as the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024 Best Actor.
The actress said that she was truly proud of her husband’s performance in the movie. She also shared that on the premiere night, she could not stop herself from crying. Even until the movie was finished, she was still emotional.
That was the reason why she avoided being interviewed after the premiere night, which was a usual scenario for reporters to do. She also shared that while they were traveling home that night, she was still sobbing and hugging Dennis.
The actress felt so much empathy for her husband’s character in the movie. Jennylyn revealed that even when they got home, she was still emotional. The actress also shared that usually, she does not cry because of movies and that it is Dennis who tends to get emotional while watching drama scenes. However, Green Bones had a different effect on her.
Ogie Diaz shared that it was because the actor portrayed his character so well, to the point that there was no sign of being Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado agreed with this.
In the same interview, Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado shared that they no longer feel jealous because they are very secure when it comes to their relationship. They admitted that before, there was jealousy between them but now, it is completely different.
