Carlo Aquino has a new-found passion for his craft
Actor Carlo Aquino considers his wife actress Charlie Dizon as his “light” and this is the reason behind this.
Carlo and Charlie did not spend a long time considering marrying each other. After a couple of years of being together as a couple, they decided to tie the knot in June last year.
It was an intimate wedding ceremony attended by their closest relatives and friends. The couple is now navigating the journey of being married with the positive vibes that they exude whenever asked about their lives.
In a recent interview for his contract signing with Viva Artist Agency, Carlo Aquino showed a new-found passion for being an actor. Based on the article in PEP, the actor returned to VAA because the talent management company handled his career from 2005 to 2011.
The actor considered this as his “homecoming.” He said that the the love that the Viva executives for him over the years was one of the reasons why he decided to return.
Then, he mentioned that his passion to do more when it comes to his acting career can be augmented by Viva. “Di ba, yung life parang movement, activity, naghahanap ka ng kumurot sa puso mo o kaya yung mag-aano ng imahinasyon mo sa utak? E, alam naman natin na yung Viva, very diverse yung mga ginagawa nila. Ang daming ginagawa, horror, romance…” he said.
Carlo added that it is time for him to do different genres but still, he will consider romance projects. He is also looking forward to working with artists handled by Viva.
When asked about his wife’s reaction to his contract signing with Viva, Carlo shared that Charlie is very excited for him, for this new chapter in his life. The actor shared that with Charlie, everything seemed to be always a new beginning.
The actor also shared that his wife would always inspire him when it comes to his profession as an actor. He said that although Charlie is no longer young, she is young in the industry, so she has an intense kind of passion for acting.
Seeing his wife’s overflowing passion for her craft, it fuels him to have that same kind of passion. “Yun ang ibinibigay niya sa akin kaya ang tawag ko nga sa kanya, yung light, kasi siya yung nagbibigay sa akin ng inspirasyon, fire,” Carlo Aquino said.
