Derek Ramsay defended Pernilla Sjoo amid the bashing
Actor Derek Ramsay told professional surfer Philmar Alipayo to be man enough in handling issues between him and his wife Andi Eigenmann that dragged Pernilla Sjoo.
The recent marital issue that Philmar and Andi had become the talk of the town these past few days. When Philmar and Pernilla’s photos circulated showcasing their matching tattoos, the latter was bashed online.
She was accused of stealing Philmar from Andi and that what they had was allegedly more than friendship.
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, Derek Ramsay, who is also a close friend of Pernilla Sjoo shared his thoughts on the issue.
Derek and his wife Ellen Adarna were also dragged into the Andi-Philmar issue as they defended Pernilla. The actor said that Pern has been devastated by the negative comments she received and that even her boyfriend is already affected by this.
Derek shared that he told Pernilla that the matching tattoo was wrong but the latter had no intention of hurting Andi. The actor pointed out that 80 percent of the blame should be on Philmar since he agreed with getting a matching tattoo just because he was having a problem with Andi.
Derek also stresses that what Pernilla had with Philmar is just friendship and that he could trust the latter because of the strong friendship they have and it does not bother Ellen. The Cebuana celebrity received a warning from a netizen because of Derek’s closeness to Pernilla.
He also acknowledged the anger that Andi had because of that matching tattoo but he pointed out that it was not right for her to post what she felt on social media. For him, it was irresponsible for the former actress to do that because of her influence on social media.
Derek mentioned that eventually, Philmar posted that he and Andi are now okay but they did not think about how much the issue has affected Pernilla who has been crying every day because of this. The actor shared that Pernilla could no longer go to work and go out of her house because of the threats she has been receiving.
“I can sleep in the same bed with Pernilla and my wife would not doubt. That’s how close we are to her,” Derek said. This friendship was also shown by Pernilla to Philmar but the latter has not done anything to defend his so-called “best friend.”
“Philmar, excuse me for using this term, would have the balls to be a man, magpakalalaki ka!” Derek Ramsay said, adding that the surfer should fix his issue with his wife and not disrespect the person who helped him with all his problems.
