Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil Gear Up for a Return W/ Exciting New Project
LIZA SOBERANO – Fil-Am actress Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil are gearing up for their highly anticipated return to the spotlight, with an exciting new project currently in the works.
Fans of the beloved on-screen tandem of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil, known as “LizQuen,” have something to look forward to as the two are preparing for a much-anticipated reunion project. While details remain under wraps, Soberano has confirmed that they are working on developing the perfect concept that will suit them both.
In an interview on the February 7 broadcast of ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol, Soberano shared that their comeback project is expected to be released within the next year or two. She emphasized that they are taking their time to ensure the concept is well thought out and fully developed before moving forward.
“We’re trying to come up with a concept we can do together in the future, and I can guarantee that it’s going to be in the next year or two because the concept that we’re coming up with needs to be fleshed out,” Soberano said.
According to the report, the actress also expressed her openness to doing a teleserye, explaining that she is interested in exploring diverse characters and genres.
“I’m definitely open to doing a teleserye. I think it just comes down to the concept. I’m at the stage where I [want to do] different kinds of characters and genres. I’m just looking for anything that excites me and is like kakaiba (different),” she added.
Currently based in the United States, Soberano has been making strides in Hollywood, starring in Lisa Frankenstein alongside Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse. Her international career move included a stint with Careless Music, co-founded by James Reid, before parting ways with the company in July 2024. She later signed with Singapore-based management group WILD in November 2024.
Gil had previously hinted at a potential horror film project with Soberano in November 2024, though he refrained from revealing further details. Despite ongoing speculation about their personal relationship, which has been plagued by separation rumors since 2023, Gil clarified in February 2024 that they remain together.
With their undeniable chemistry and fan support, Soberano and Gil’s reunion project is bound to generate excitement as they prepare for their big comeback in the entertainment industry.
