Vic Sotto Lawyer Reveals Darryl Yap Admitted He Spliced Movie Teaser

Darryl Yap reportedly admitted that Vic Sotto did not r@pe Pepsi Paloma

Atty. Enrique dela Cruz, the lawyer of veteran comedian-host Vic Sotto, revealed that director Darryl Yap admitted in court that he spliced the Pepsi Paloma movie teaser.

Darryl’s new movie has become controversial from the time he announced it and when he shared the cast members, and until now after the movie teaser and trailer were released.

The Pepsi Paloma movie teaser prompted Vic to start a legal battle against Darryl. The Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court partially granted Vic the writ of habeas data. This meant that the director was ordered to take down the teaser or promotional material of his movie mentioning or involving Vic.

In a recent Facebook post Atty. Dela Cruz shared on his page “Itanong mo kay BUKO,” his interview regarding the court’s recent decision.

Darryl Yap, umamin raw sa korte na hindi totoong ginahasa ni Vic Sotto si Pepsi Paloma, taliwas sa mensahe ng malisyosong trailer ng kaniyang pelikula,” the caption of the post stated.

When asked if the decision was only limited to the teaser, the lawyer explained that it was because the movie had not been released yet and censorship was not allowed before it was shown. The next thing that they can do is to wait until the movie is submitted to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

Atty. Dela Cruz also pointed out that the court’s decision in favor of Vic Sotto is an advantage for them because they can use this to hinder the release of the movie as he said that it also contained sensitive information. They will also use this for the 19 counts of cyber libel that Vic filed against Darryl.

Merong actual malice dahil po sinadya niyang putilin ang eksena at pinapalabas na parang totoo na nang-r@pe nga ang aming kliyente,” Vic’s legal counsel shared, adding that Darryl knew that this was not true.

In fact, inamin niya yan sa korte. Sinabi niyang hindi naman talaga totoo na nang-r@pe,” the lawyer pointed out.
