RUFA MAE QUINTO – Comedian Rufa Mae Quinto bravely opens up about the struggles in her troubled marriage, sharing the emotional challenges she has been facing with her husband.
Rufa Mae Quinto recently opened up about her relationship with her husband, Trevor Magallanes, revealing the complexities and challenges they are facing. During an interview with Ogie Diaz, Rufa Mae shared that she still has many unanswered questions regarding their relationship. However, she admitted that she no longer has the courage to ask her husband about these matters.
One of the most revealing moments in the interview came when she humorously confessed that she stopped texting Trevor because she was worried he might screenshot their conversation again. This lighthearted comment followed the public release of screenshots from her husband’s post, which had caused a stir due to the sensitive nature of their relationship.
Rufa Mae Quinto also shared that, like anyone in a troubled relationship, she was confused and wanted answers. She recalled Trevor’s sudden decision to end their relationship, saying, “Ewan ko kung ano na talaga. Basta sabi niya ayaw na niya. Kaya nga marami din akong tanong, hindi ko rin alam ang sagot or wala na rin talagang sagot.” She admitted she didn’t fully understand why this was happening, and that sometimes relationships just don’t have clear answers.
Reflecting on possible reasons for the separation, Rufa Mae pointed out her frequent trips to the Philippines for work. Although she always made sure to inform Trevor beforehand, it seems that her busy schedule may have played a role in his decision to distance himself.
Despite the current state of their relationship, Rufa Mae clarified that Trevor still maintains a close bond with their daughter, Athena. “Wala akong pinagsisisihan. We still the best, you know. May mga bagay lang talaga na hindi perfect. Pero masaya ako dahil nand’yan pa naman siya. Mabait siya sa anak namin, mahal na mahal niya,” she said, emphasizing that Trevor continues to show love and care for their child.
Though their relationship faces challenges, Rufa Mae remains optimistic and grateful for the positive aspects of their family life.
