Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado have an upcoming project together
Kapuso drama king Dennis Trillo reacted to his wife Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado’s contract renewal with GMA Network.
Months after rumors surfaced that Jennylyn would transfer to ABS-CBN, she officially signed a contract with her home network last January 21. The actress was emotional during the contract signing event. She said she is home now with a new contract with the Kapuso network.
Along with her new contract with GMA, Jennylyn will have a new show and this is with her husband. Reportedly, the Kapuso couple will star in the series Sanggang Dikit which allegedly was first offered to Andrea Torres and Derek Ramsay.
In an interview about Jennylyn Mercado’s contract signing, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Dennis Trillo expressed happiness for his wife.
The Kapuso drama king also said that he is excited about his upcoming project with the Ultimate Star.
“Congratulations mahal sa bago mong kontrata sa ating Kapuso network. Excited na akong gumawa ng mga magagandang proyekto kasama ka. Sobrang excited na finally magkakaroon ulit kami ng project,” Dennis said.
The last project that Dennis and Jennylyn had together was the series My Faithful Husband which was aired in 2015.
Based on the article, the Kapuso couple will star in an upcoming romantic comedy series Everything About My Wife. This project is a collaboration between GMA Pictures and CreaZion Studios.
They will be doing a movie also with Kapamilya actor Sam Milby. Aside from these, Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo will also do an action-drama series in which the actress will portray the role of a policewoman.
Meanwhile, Jennylyn was also very supportive of Dennis’s last movie Green Bones in which he received the Best Actor trophy at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024.
