Dilaw unreleased song became a hot topic on Facebook
Dilaw Unreleased Song – Medical practitioner and social media personality Doc Alvin Francisco’s wedding video apparently used a song by Dilaw without the knowledge of the group.
The band Dilaw is led by Dilaw Obero as the frontman with members guitarist-instrumentalist Vie Dela Rosa, Wayne Dela Rosa (bass guitar), Leon Karlos (guitar), En Altomonte (keyboards, synths), and Tóbi Samson (drums).
Dilaw is among the fastest-rising indie rock bands nowadays. They popularized the song Uhaw which easily became a hit as fans streamed avidly the catchy song. The band’s popularity led to various shows and guest appearances.

In a Facebook post on January 16, Dilaw Obera caught the attention of the online community. “Halos isang taon namin pinaghahandaan, nilabas lang ng ganon ganon,” the musician wrote in his post.
This was shared on Reddit, including his comment on his own post saying, “Ambastos eh noh.” Dilaw’s frontman did not elaborate on this nor divulge what he was talking about in his post.
The Reddit post featuring the musician’s FB post had this title: “Unreleased Dilaw song used in Doc Alvin wedding video.”

Dilaw Obero’s comment section was filled with various reactions. Some netizens were wondering what or who he was talking about while some easily knew the topic.

A netizen even shared the link to the Facebook post of Doc Alvin featuring his wedding video which was posted on November 23, 2024. In Doc Alvin’s post, he thanked Bob Nicolas who did the wedding video.

Some netizens told Dilaw to sue the video creator and asked how he was able to have access to the group’s unreleased song. Here are some comments.
