Sofia Pablo said the time will come when she and Jillian Ward will be okay
Kapuso young actress Sofia Pablo spoke about the feud between her and Kapuso Star of New Gen Jillian Ward.
The conflict between the two young Kapuso actresses was revealed publicly back in 2023. At that time, netizens noticed that Sofia liked a post on Twitter, now known as X, calling Jillian a “bully.”
With that, netizens talked about the supposed conflict between the two Sparkle stars. In an interview, a few days after Sofia Pablo liked that “bully” post, she admitted that she and Jillian were not friends even though they worked together in the series Prima Donnas which started airing in 2019 until 2022.
Back then, Sofia said that she and Jillian did not jive because they had different interests. However, the former said that she was happy with what the latter had achieved.
In a recent interview with Kapuso entertainment reporter Nelson Canlas for GMA Integrated News, Sofia was asked about her feud with Jillian.
She said that she is often asked about this and she would always say that they are not enemies but they are not friends also.
“Pero the truth is, I say that para iwas na issue sa amin both. Kumbaga, it’s a feud na sobrang tagal na. I think one of the things kaya ‘di namin siya naayos is because we never got to talk about it,” Sofia shared.
She also shared that the feud started during the first season of Prima Donnas but she id did not divulge the reason.
Then, Sofia mentioned that before, she and Jillian were close and suddenly it changed. “Nagulat na lang ako biglang hindi na. Ganun ‘yung nangyari sa amin. After nun, we never talked anymore,” she shared, adding that this surprised her because the change happened in just a snap.
Sofia stressed that she does not want to aggravate the issue and that people should stop talking about this. For her, there is no problem if she and Jillian are not okay and reconciliation should not be forced.
However, Sofia Pablo believes that the right time will come when she and Jillian Ward will be okay, just like what happened to her and her Prinsesa ng City Jail co-star Will Ashley.
