Piolo Pascual recalled the “past” that he had with Toni Gonzaga
Kapamilya A-list actor Piolo Pascual appeared to have hinted that he courted Ultimate Multimedia Star Toni Gonzaga before but he was turned down.
Piolo is one of the most in-demand leading men of his generation. Over the years, he has been paired with different leading ladies in movies and TV series. In a recent interview on Toni Talks, the YouTube talk show of Toni, Piolo shared his journey in showbiz and his life realizations.
In the interview, his love life was also discussed. Piolo revealed he has been single for 13 years now which surprised Toni. The actor even quipped that he does not know what love life is.
Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga first work together in a softdrink commercial. Years after that, they became onscreen partners in the movie Starting Over Again in 2014.
During the interview, Toni asked Piolo why he had been single for a long time. He said that he is getting used to his single status and that his focus is on his career. “Totoo kasi, eh. You know, I love being single. I donât see the point of being with someone, especially now because Iâm so busy with work,” the actor said.
At one point, he was asked about the qualities he is looking for in a woman. âChristian muna. Family-oriented, siyempre, dapat âyung mabait. Hindi full of herself. Hindi âyung âme, myself, and I,” Piolo shared.
When Toni asked him about the physical attributes he is looking for in a future partner, Piolo said that it is someone like the actress-host. Then, he said, “Hindi mo ako sinagot.â Does this mean that Piolo courted Toni in the past?
The actress-host answered the Piolo Pascual’s statement with, “Ewan ko sa âyo, PJ! Para kang tanga. Nuâng time naman na âyun, parang tanga naman âtong si PJ!â
Toni Gonzaga is now happily married to award-winning director Paul Soriano and they now have a son and a daughter.
