However, Coca Nicolas, who was one of the Softdrink Beauties back in the 80s said that she and Pepsi Paloma were close and that they were together in an apartment. Coca stressed that the complaint was just a made-up story of their manager Rey dela Cruz.

Even Kapuso journalist Arnold Clavio believed what Coca said in an interview on Julius Babao’s YouTube channel. The Kapuso journalist also criticized Darryl Yap. However, the director fired back at Arnold and stressed that Pepsi and Coca were never close.
