Kim Atienza has this reminder to those who are showing “resibo” on social media
Kapuso host Kim Atienza reacted to the screenshot in showbiz that has recently caught the attention of the online community.
Kuya Kim has been in the entertainment industry for many years already. As a host, he is known for the trivia and pieces of information that he shares with his audience. Currently, he is one of the hosts of the Kapuso morning variety show TicktoClock.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Kuya Kim shared his thoughts about the screenshot scandals that shocked the entertainment industry this year.
To recall, the issue between loveteam partners Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings started when the latter’s ex-girlfriend Jam Villanueva shared screenshots of their intimate conversations.
This goes the same with the screenshots that comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto’s estranged husband Trevor Magallanes shared on social media which confirmed their marital issues. After this, the alleged mistress of socialite-vlogger Small Laude’s husband Philip Laude shared screenshots of their conversations.
In line with this, Kim Atienza reminded people not to be hasty when it comes to taking actions on certain issues. Itulog mo muna. “Pag-isipan mo nang husto. Kasi kapag nilabas mo ‘yan, may damage. At maaaring ang damage e, bumalik din sa ‘yo,” he said.
He also said if something is not legal, it does not mean that it is not right. It may not be legal to share screenshots of private conversations but the tide of public opinion is always on the side of the one who is being mistreated.
Kuya Kim, on the other hand, said that one can destroy someone’s life because of screenshots because the public may not know the whole context of the screenshots and one’s perspective might be different from what really took place.
The seasoned TV host also stressed that if a person is angry, he or she should not post anything on social media because netizens will definitely feast on it.
