Denise Julia reacted to the statement made by BJ Pascual
Singer Denise Julia will resort to taking legal action against photographer BJ Pascual, after his controversial statement on vlogger Killa Kush’s podcast.
This issue came from the statement made by BJ on Killa’s podcast. The photographer was asked about the “worst celebrity” he has worked with. He mentioned Denise’s name and narrated what happened.
BJ claimed that the singer cancelled their scheduled photoshoot days before it happened and everything was already set. Because of this, the singer was criticized online as she was trending on social media.

However, when Denise Julia broke her silence on the issue, she showed screenshots of the conversations that took place between her and BJ Pascual’s managers.
She also explained that they waited for a long time before BJ’s camp gave a decision regarding the budget needed of their shoot. One portion of a screenshot also showed that it was BJ’s manager who cancelled the shoot.

The photographer answered the revelation made by the singer. BJ also shared some screenshots and his explanation. He stressed that the screenshots that Denise shared did not reflect the full context of what happened.
The singer did not stop her fight. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, quoting BJ’s tweet, she stressed that first and foremost, her camp was very honest about the budget that they could afford but they really wanted to work with BJ Pascual.
We went into this wanting to work with you—we’re genuine fans and were so excited about the collaboration. From the very beginning, we were upfront about our budget and what we can afford to execute the music video, the Photoshoot, the album art, the trailer and press photos.

The singer also said that she adjusted her entire release date in order to accommodate to the photographer’s schedule because they really wanted to push through with this collaboration.
Denise Julia stressed that the most hurtful thing for her was that her image had been damaged publicly because of something that was out of her control since it was their managers who were talking about this.
“You targeted me to bring me down. I’ve decided to leave the whole screen recording here for full transparency as we have nothing to hide,” the singer said.
With what happened, she is now in contact with her legal team about a defamation suit. “I hate that this had to go this way when it didn’t have to,” she added.
