Desiree del Valle recalled doing this scene with Paolo Contis
Actress Desiree del Valle talked about the painful slap she gave to Kapuso actor Paolo Contis during a scene in Tabing Ilog.
Desiree was one of the cast members of the Kapamilya youth-oriented show during the 90s to early 2000s. This featured the biggest stars of their generation like John Lloyd Cruz, Kaye Abad, Patrick Garcia, Jodi Sta Maria, Baron Geisler, and many more.
The time came when the actress became inactive in showbiz. In 2018, she tied the knot with actor Boom Labrusca in the US. Three years after they got married, they had their first baby. In a statement before, Broom admitted that Desiree changed his life for the better.
Just recently, Desiree del Valle appeared on the Kapuso afternoon talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
One of the topics she talked about with the King of Talk was the past that she had with Paolo Contis. Desiree was one of the ex-girlfriends of the Kapuso actor. They were also loveteam partners at that time.
The actress shared that there was a scene in Tabing Ilog that reflected what was happening between them in real life.
“There was actually a scene that we were fighting as Corrinne and Badong, so I slapped him. And sobrang sakit, nagpa-cut siya. Sabi niya, ‘cut, cut!’ kasi sobrang sakit ng sampal. Hindi niya kinaya,” Desiree shared.
She said that she made that slap so realistic because, in real life, she and Paolo fought, so, he felt the real painful slap as well.
Meanwhile, Paolo is currently single after he confirmed his breakup with actress Yen Santos during an interview last November during his interview on Boy Abunda’s talk show. However, for talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, there is a possibility that Yen and Paolo would get back together.
