KUYA KIM ATIENZA – Kuya Kim Atienza’s heartfelt Christmas wish is for his children to stay safe, find their purpose, and strengthen their faith in God.
Kim Atienza, better known as Kuya Kim, is gearing up for a memorable white Christmas in Vail, Colorado, with his family. He will be joined by his wife, Fely, and their three children — Jose III, Eliana, and Emman.
This holiday getaway holds special significance as Jose, who works in Boston, and Eliana, a student at the University of Pennsylvania, are based in the United States. Meanwhile, Emman, the youngest, has just completed high school. Their 10-day trip, scheduled from December 21 to January 4, is all about quality family time. “We just want the family to spend time together,” Kuya Kim shared in an interview with The Philippine STAR. While the children plan to enjoy skiing, he and Fely will take it easy, indulging in delicious meals and the cozy holiday atmosphere.
With temperatures dropping to -11°C, Colorado’s snow creates the perfect conditions for skiing — a family hobby they’ve embraced since the kids were young. “We taught the kids how to ski at a young age, and they are very good skiers,” Kuya Kim proudly revealed.
When asked about his Christmas wishes, Kuya Kim’s response was centered on his family’s well-being. “I just want my children to be safe,” he said, adding that he also hopes they develop a deeper relationship with God and discover their purpose in life.
According to the report, Kuya Kim also reflected on the many blessings in his life. Professionally, he’s grateful to remain relevant in the dynamic world of Philippine television, recently renewing his GMA Network contract for another three years. “To be relevant at this point in my career is such a blessing,” he shared.
Health, a key aspect of Kuya Kim’s advocacy, brought no challenges this year. Expressing his gratitude, he said, “I’ve been blessed and have nothing but gratitude.”
As Kuya Kim looks forward to this snowy adventure with his family, he exemplifies the true spirit of Christmas — celebrating togetherness, faith, and a heart filled with thankfulness.
