Carmina Villarroel joined the cast of Widow’s War
Kapuso actress Carmina Villarroel talked about working with prominent “kontrabida” actress Jean Garcia in the murder mystery series Widow’s War.
In the past few years, Carmina focused on doing TV series on the Kapuso network. The most recent teleserye she did was Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap with Richard Yap and Jillian Ward.
Just recently, her character Barbara or Barry in Widow’s Web, a Kapuso series that aired in 2022, had a crossover in Widow’s War.
Fans of the current Kapuso primetime series should watch out for her character and what she will bring to the life of Aurora, the character played by Jean and the members of the Palacios family.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Carmina Villarroel expressed excitement when she knew that Jean Garcia would be one of the cast members who she would be working with.
This is the second time she will be working with the prominent “kontrabida” actress. Back in 2017 to 2018, they worked together in the series Kambal, Karibal. Carmina also said that this is like her reunion with Jean.
“Parang reunion namin itong dalawa. Hindi naman ako nanibago na maka-eksena si Ate Jean kasi ano siya very warm, parang ako ‘yan eh, very bubbly, ma-chika, kaya exciting,” Carmina shared.
She also shared that everyone on the set was very welcoming. “Nung first day ko, everybody naman they made me feel na… winelcome talaga nila ako nang bongga,” the actress shared.
Widow’s War, which features Bea Alonzo and Carla Abellana as the lead stars, is airing from Monday to Friday, at 8:50 p.m. on GMA Prime. The murder mystery series also features Timmy Cruz, Jeric Gonzales, Lito Pimentel, Lovely Rivero, Juancho Trivino, and many more.
