Julia Montes talked about her TV series comeback
Kapamilya actress Julia Montes shared that her new series Saving Grace is a special project for her.
Julia has been one of the most prominent actresses of her generation. She has done a lot of projects that skyrocketed her acting career. After taking a break from doing teleseryes for a while, her comeback project has been receiving warm responses from her fans.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippines Star, Julia Montes considered Saving Grace as a special project. Aside from the fact that this is her teleserye comeback, it is also because of the late Dreamscape Entertainment head Deo Endrinal.
“This project is very important to me not because I came back sa work but this is special because of Sir Deo,” the actress said. Sadly, the late producer is no longer around to see her performance in this project.
“What you’ve seen is hindi ‘to mabubuo ng isa o dalawang (persons) but buong pamilya ng ‘Saving Grace’ from on cam to off cam. All of us poured our hearts into this that’s why this is a very special project,” Julia shared.
Saving Grace is set to premiere on November 28 on Prime Video. It is the Filipino version of Nippon TV’s drama “Mother.” The series is about the mother’s unconditional love but also sheds light on the issue of domestic violence.
Julia Montes plays the character of Anna in the series, She is a teacher who is struggling to find a purpose in life. Then, she found herself entangled in the life of her abused student, Grace, played by Zia Grace.
However, her attempt to save her student led her to kidnap the child which prompted a nationwide manhunt against her.
When asked about the lessons she learned from this project, Julia said that love is indeed a powerful force and a huge factor in people’s lives.
