Joshua Garcia has this wish for his career
Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia expressed his wish to have a project with Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo someday.
Joshua is considered one of the most successful actors of his generation. From being a house in the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother, he was able to prove his staying power in the Philippine showbiz industry.
The actor was given different roles in TV series and movies. Joshua just recently renewed his contract with his home network ABS-CBN.
In an interview during the ABS-CBN’s Star Magical Christmas Ball, based on the article in Bandera, Joshua Garcia was asked about the rumor that he and Kathryn Bernardo will work on a project together.
Although there is no truth to this for now, the actor hoped that someday this will be realized. “Sana! Pero wala pa naman nasabi sa akin. Hindi pa siya totoo, pero sana,” the actor said.
When asked what genre of acting project he would want to do with Kathryn, he said that he wants a romantic drama project.
Then, Joshua recalled that Kathryn has been his crush since PBB days and he is thankful that he was able to be friends with the actress. “Parang inamin ko naman ‘yun nun sa PBB. Parang natutulala pa ako. Malaking achievement from humahanga lang ako sa kanya to naging magkaibigan kami,” he said.
Joshua and Kathryn are part of the Nguya Squad, as well as, other celebrities. For many years, they have been seen having their bonding moments.
Meanwhile, Joshua Garcia is working on the Filipino adaptation of the hit South Korean series It’s Okay to Not Be Okay with famous Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis and Carlo Aquino. They have started filming for this months ago.
Kathryn Bernardo’s most recent acting project is the movie Hello, Love, Again with Alden Richards.
