Vilma Santos and Aga Muhlach have a big screen reunion
Star for all Season Vilma Santos shared that she threatened seasoned actor Aga Muhlach to accept the movie Uninvited.
The film is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024. During a recent media conference for this move, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Vilma and Aga were asked why it took three decades for them to have a reunion project.
They first worked together in 1992 for the movie Sinungaling Mong Puso and this was followed by the film Nag-iisang Bituin in 1994.
Vilma Santos shared that the first actor who came into her mind for this project was Aga Muhlach.
When the story was finally finished she and the whole production team agreed that there was no other choice for the role of Guilly but only Aga. Then, she enthused the story of how she told the actor to accept this role.
She shared that when Aga called her to confirm the news that they would do a movie together, she said that he must accept this.
Doon nag-umpisa yun. Now, ito na, tapos na yung pelikula namin,” Vilma said in jest.
Aga shared that it was easy for him to accept this project. There was no way for him to turn down the project that was offered. It was just that he wanted to call Vilma first. The actor also said that there was no need for the actress to say anything because he was just waiting for this time. He’s happy to have done this movie and it is with Vilma Santos.
