Miss Universe 2024 Winner – Miss Denmark Victoria Theilvig is the winner of the 73rd edition of Miss Universe.
The coronation night was held at the Arena CDMX in Mexico on November 16, (November 17 in the Philippines). Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua crowned her successor after a series of preliminary competitions and events.
From 125 candidates from different countries, with some as first-timers, the top 30 candidates were chosen as semifinalists. These lovely ladies walked in their swimwear and impressed the judges.
After that, the top 12 candidates were announced and they showcased their elegant gowns for the evening gown portion. Then, the top 5 finalists were named.
The five beautiful and intelligent candidates answered the questions from the members of the selection committee. They randomly chose the judge who would fire them the question. Before the winner was chosen, they still had to answer one final question which helped the selection committee in choosing the rightful winner of the crown made in the Philippines by the company Jewelmer.
After the nerve-wracking moment for the five finalists, they had their final walk. Sheynnis Palacios also had her final walk as Miss Universe 2023. She expressed gratitude for being chosen to reign and had her inspiring message to women all over the world.
The long wait was over when the announcement of winners took place.
