WALANG PASOK – Some local government units (LGUs) announced the suspension of classes on November 11, 2024, due to Severe Tropical Storm Nika (Toraji).

Based on the weather bulletin released by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) on November 10, 5 PM, Nika continues to move westward as it nears typhoon strength.

The weather bureau stated that the center of Severe Tropical Storm NIKA was estimated based on all available data including Daet Weather Radar at 380 km East of Infanta, Quezon (15.2 °N, 125.2 °E ) with maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 135 km/h.

  • Naga, Camarines Sur – All levels, public and private
  • Santo Niño, Cagayan – Pre-school to senior high school, public and private
