Ryza Cenon will always be remembered because of her viral scene in a series
Actress Ryza Cenon recalled the confusion that she had while filming the viral gun scene in the defunct Kapuso series Ika-6 Na Utos.
Ryza started her career in the Kapuso network when she joined the talent search StarStruck. After that show, she was given a chance to be part of different projects.
One of the most memorable projects that she did was the afternoon drama series Ika-6 Na Utos with Gabby Concepcion and Sunshine Dizon. This was one of the top-rated afternoon series of GMA. It ran from December 2016 and had its final airing in March 2018.
In this series, there was a scene that really went viral. That was when a fight happened between the characters of Ryza and Sunshine, Georgia and Emma, respectively. In that scene, Ryza pointed a toy gun at Sunshine and many viewers found that funny.
Several memes surfaced because of that, just like the Olympic memes that circulated and this received a reaction from Ryza. In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, the actress recalled that she was confused as to why she had to handle a toy gun.
When they were blocking the scene, Ryza admitted that she questioned if she realy will hold the toy. “Actually, noong bina-block ‘yun noong time ng scene na ‘yun, nagke-question kami. ‘Huh, sure ba kayo na Nerf gun ‘yung itututok ko? Kasi baka ma-question tayo ng tututukan ko,” she shared.
She was told that was the logic, since it was not real and just a toy gun, she would point it at Sunshine’s character.
Meanwhile, back in 2023, netizens made fun of Ryza Cenon’s viral toy gun meme. Netizens said that she had a gun upgrade since she did some action scenes in the defunct Kapamilya series Ang Probinsyano.
