Willie Revillame empathized with the people of Batangas
Veteran television host Willie Revillame, who is a senatorial aspirant, donated to the victims of typhoon Kristine in Talisay, Batangas.
Willie has been in the entertainment industry for many decades already. With all the success that he achieved over the years, he is able to help other people in showbiz. Through his show, he is also helping those who are less fortunate.
His desire to help the “mahihirap” is one of the main reasons why he decided to run for senator. However, in an interview, he said that he has no plans yet to address the problems in the country because he has yet to win.
Amid the typhoon Kristine that hit the country just recently, Willie Revillame donated Php 3 million to former Vice President Leni Robredo‘s Angat Buhay Foundation.
After this, the veteran TV host visited the typhoon victims in Batangas. Willie extended his condolences to those who lost their loved ones because of the typhoon.
He was able to do this through the help of Mayor Nestor Natanauan and Brgy. Captain Edgardo Santarin, based on the article in Manila Bulletin. Willie also gave financial assistance to the victims of landslides in Brgy. Sampaloc.
Meanwhile, Willie Revillame’s show Wil To Win reportedly will undergo some changes. It was reported earlier that the female co-hosts of Kuya Wil were removed from the show. Reportedly, this is part of the changes that the show will have as Willie is set to start his journey in politics.
To recall, Willie started preparing for the senatorial race by hiring Hazel Calawod, the sports therapist of Carlos Yulo to prepare him physically. Previously, Hazel revealed that she was not referred to be Willie’s trainer and that she was hired through her LinkedIn profile.
