Alodia Gosiengfiao is expecting her first baby
Cosplayer-gamer Alodia Gosiengfiao talked about her first pregnancy with her husband businessman Christopher Quimbo.
Alodia announced her first pregnancy last June. Three months after that, they had their gender reveal. They are expecting a baby boy.
The couple made their relationship public in 2022. Last year, on Valentine’s Day, they tied the knot in a luxurious wedding ceremony. She wore an exquisite gown with details featuring her love for video games. After the wedding, the famous cosplayer shared the “A Gamer’s Fantasy Wedding” vlog.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Inquirer, Alodia Gosiengfiao shared that her first pregnancy was challenging but it is exciting at the same time.
“I’m very excited. It’s coming out very soon,” she shared. She also shared that she was quite surprised because it was challenging because she thought that it was just smooth sailing. Alodia said that it has a lot of work and preparation. This is the reason why she has high respect for every mom.
Meanwhile, aside from being busy as a pregnant woman and with her stints as a gamer, Alodia also ventured into producing. She co-produced and made a special appearance in the upcoming movie Friendly Fire featuring actress Loisa Andalio.
Alodia said that it is important for her to be part of a project that promotes electronic sports (esports) because this is close to her heart and this is where her career as a content creator started. She shared that this movie does not only promote gaming but also features a story about friendship, perseverance, and teamwork.
“I’m really humbled to be here because this has been my whole world, and I’m just really happy, thankful, and blessed that other people also appreciate this,” she said.
Alodia Gosiengfiao also said that she hopes more Filipinos will be aware of the gaming industry in the Philippines.
