Gabbi Garcia Opens Up About Her First Love: Ruru Madrid
GABBI GARCIA – Kapuso star Gabbi Garcia openly confessed that moving on from her first love, Ruru Madrid, was not easy.
In a candid interview on the popular talk show “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” Sparkle star Gabbi Garcia openly discussed her past relationship with fellow actor Ruru Madrid. During the show’s “Fast Talk” segment, Gabbi was asked by the King of Talk a series of quick, revealing questions, including one about her past love life that had fans buzzing.
One of the most striking moments came when Tito Boy asked Gabbi, “Guilty or not guilty: it was hard to move on?” Without hesitation, Gabbi responded, “Guilty.” With a bit of teasing, Tito Boy clarified, “To Ruru!” Gabbi, with a smile, confirmed, “My first love, eh.”
Gabbi Garcia’s openness about her first love struck a chord with viewers. Despite being in a happy relationship with actor Khalil Ramos, Gabbi did not shy away from admitting the emotional challenges she faced after parting ways with Ruru. She acknowledged that moving on from her first love was difficult, as first loves tend to leave a lasting impression.

Ruru Madrid had previously revealed on the same show that Gabbi was his only girlfriend before his current relationship with actress Bianca Umali. Reflecting on their youthful love, Ruru shared that they were very young when they started dating—Gabbi was 15, and Ruru was 16. Their romance blossomed while they worked together as a love team, spending a lot of time together on set.
