Jennica Garcia is one of the cast members of ‘Hello, Love, Again’
Actress Jennica Garcia shared what Direk Cathy-Sampana said to her during their first meeting for the movie Hello, Love, Again.
Jennica is one of the new cast members in the second movie of Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo. Their first movie was Hello, Love, Goodbye in 2019 and was mostly shot in Hong Kong.
For the second KathDen movie, the scenes were mostly shot in Canada. Just recently, a press conference was held and Jennica was one of the stars who faced reporters from different news outlets.

At that time, Jennica was still shooting for the Kapamilya series Saving Grace. She was hesitant if she would be able to pull this off.
Jennica told herself that she should not be “sabaw” because the director is Direk Cathy. However, this is a big blessing for her.
Then, the daughter of seasoned kontrabida star Jean Garcia shared what happened when she first met Direk Cathy. She was mustering her courage to be in the presence of the director while also encouraging herself that she should not be included in the cast if Direk Cathy did not trust her.
Jennica shared the first that Direk Cathy said to her, “Ah, anak, pasensya ka na ha? Hindi kasi kita kilala.” The actress’s shy feeling intensified after hearing that. She jokingly said that she would just go home to the Philippines.
However, Jennica stressed that Direk Cathy is “mabait” and that the actors’ presence of mind should just always be there. The director clarified what she meant when she said that she did not know Jennica.
Direk Cathy said that it was because she had no idea about Jennica’s acting capabilities as they hadn’t had the chance to work in the past.
