Ogie Diaz has a new show on TV5
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz recently announced that he has a new show titled Quizmosa and this is the same as the title of the segment in the Kapuso morning variety show TiktoClock.
From being a YouTuber, with his showbiz talk show Showbiz Update, Ogie is set to have a mainstream show. He shared that this will be a game show involving the latest updates in the entertainment industry.
Since it is a game show, people can expect prizes. His upcoming Kapatid show is set to air on October 21, at 2:30 PM, after the noontime show Eat Bulaga.
Ogie Diaz also shared that he will be joined by Mama Loi in his new show, as well as, Tonton Soriano, and other male co-hosts.
Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin shared in his recent article that Ogie’s new show has the same title as TiktoClock’s segment. The writer shared that they received a press release from GMA about the Kapuso show.
A portion of the press release read: “‘Quizmosa’ bagong pakulo ng ‘TiktoClock!’ Tuluy-tuloy ang saya at papremyo sa one-of-a-kind countdown variety show ng GMA Network na ‘TiktoClock!’”
Then, Lalin shared that TV5 also sent an invitation to them for Ogie’s new show. The Kapatid network stated that Ogie’s Quizmosa is the first gossip quiz show in the Philippines that will bring a thrilling twist to showbiz news.
A person from TV5 stated that Quizmosa is “registered under Cignal/Mediaquest Ventures as copyright and trademark.”
The entertainment writer also asked someone from GMA about this matter and relayed that the person from TV5 said that the title is registered under their trademark. The person from GMA also said that they would let their producer know about this.
As of this writing, no update has been shared yet about the similar titles.
