Heart Evangelista is Taking A “pass” on Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
HEART EVANGELISTA – Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista won’t be attending the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
After a six-year hiatus, the Victoria’s Secret 2024 fashion show is set to return this year. The much-anticipated event will take place in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday, October 15.
According to reports, the show will be headlined by K-Pop idol Lisa from Blackpink, alongside African pop star Tyla and pop legend Cher. One of the invited guests for the event is fashion icon Heart Evangelista.
Heart Evangelista shared the exciting news herself on her Instagram Story recently. However, the actress previously mentioned that she wouldn’t be able to attend, as she chose to stay home in the Philippines.
“Thank you @victoriasecret for inviting me! [happy face emoji],” Heart greeted the U.S. lingerie brand.
She added, “I must stay home but thank YOU for the love [red heart emoji].”
It’s worth noting that Heart had just wrapped up Paris Fashion Week, where she was quite busy. In fact, she got emotional on the last day of the event, alongside her new glam team.
In a mini vlog on IG, you can see them taking pictures with the famous tourist spot, the Eiffel Tower, in the background. Afterward, they shed tears due to the friendship and experiences they shared.
The actress explained, “Kaya ako umiiyak kasi kanina nagdasal ako na sana okay lahat kasi nag-pictorial ako dati dito, iba ‘yung mga kasama ko.”
She was referring to her former glam team, including makeup artist Justin Louise Soriano and hairstylist Jeck Aguilar.
Kristine Ira Lesaca, a talent management specialist from Sparkle GMA Artist Center, said, “We’ll always fight for you no matter what. We’ll fight for you dear, no matter what. Maniwala ka sa’min. Iba kami.”
Meanwhile, Heart previously shared that she doesn’t attend every fashion show she’s invited to.
The reason? Sometimes, she prefers to prioritize her personal activities.
“So sometimes, I will go but I’m a little tamad because I’ll gonna do Paris, Milan and then, I’ll gonna fly to Bangkok. So I’ll gonna be gone for almost a month. So I have to choose my lakad,” she said.
